Fans aren't feeling Tamar Braxton's latest performance on the "Sherri" daytime talk show. During a recent appearance, the Grammy-nominated artist surprised the audience with a rendition of the popular Christmas single, "Joy To The World." However, the vocals that Braxton served have left some social media users scratching their heads, as she seemingly struggled to reach the song's highest notes and deliver the performance with the confidence she's known for.

Was Tamar Braxton Having An Off-Day During Her 'Joy To The World' Performance?

A clip of Braxton, 48, singing the well-known holiday classic on "Sherri" has gone viral, prompting a flood of responses.

At the start of the segment, Braxton walks on stage from behind a fixture, smiling into the camera. She's seen in a sparkly (and surely expensive) sweater, black leather pants, and black heels.

Braxton seemed to start the song on the right foot; however, things quickly went left as it progressed. The mother of one struggled to stay on pitch and beat, and as the track came to a close, delivered a high note that sounded a bit off—something uncommon for the "Love & War" singer.

The responses to Braxton's performance only highlighted the singer's apparent struggles behind the microphone, with several stating that something didn't seem right with her vocals.

"The vocals been off for her lately not gonna lie," a user wrote. "I love Tay voice too, [but] she gotta tighten up!"

"I don't know what's going on with Tamar's singing lately," another wrote. "This is horrible."

A third user wrote plainly, "She's flat." They continued, "I've never heard her sing flat before. But I know she's an excellent singer. Love Tamar."

Other users also showed some love to the "Braxtons" reality star, with one sharing, "Everybody knows she can sing. Maybe an off day."

Months before her performance on "Sherri," Braxton sparked concern among fans after sharing a frightening post on her social media accounts, revealing she'd been injured and needed prayer.

"Thank you, God, for waking me up today," she wrote online, according to The Blast.

Braxton later explained that she woke up at a friend's home covered in blood and that she suffered an injury to her face. "I fractured my nose, lost some teeth, and mobility. The way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend, my mental journey begins," she added.

Of course, Braxton has been candid about her health in the past, revealing she'd been hospitalized before Christmas in 2022. "This isn't an attention post... this is an ATTENTION post," Braxton wrote before saying she sought medical help due to her trouble breathing.

She noted that she thought that "God was taking me home cause I could not breathe and my chest was on FIRE!!'

According to another report from The Blast, during Braxton's earlier appearance on "Sherri" in March 2025, the mother, who shares son Logan with her ex-husband and music executive Vince Herbert, stated that she wouldn't bring any other men around her son until he became an adult.

"But here's the thing: I didn't want to keep introducing Logan to the people that were in my life. I just want to mentally protect him as much as I can. I don't want to give him any abandonment issues or anything like that," she said.

"So for me, as a single mother, it's giving very much I just need to wait until the Lord brings me who the Lord wants me to be with," Braxton finished.
