On Sunday, a fan shared a TikTok video capturing a chaotic eruption during Kelsea Ballerini’s December 5 concert in Sydney, Australia.

The 32-year-old was deep into an acoustic performance of “Penthouse” when a man in the audience seemingly yelled “Team Morgan” at the exact moment she sang that “it stings rolling up the welcome mat, knowing you got half.”

Without hesitation, Ballerini shot back, saying “F-ck off,” as the audience erupted with laughter and cheers.

She then walked forward, removed her mic from the stand, and declared, “Team Everyone’s Happy,” prompting even louder applause.

The Grammy-nominated star, who divorced Evans in 2022, reinforced the moment with a thumbs-up that she quickly turned into a middle finger before continuing the set.

Ballerini urged fans to protect the meaning of the track, adding, “Please let this be a song that matters to people and not a place to insert yourself into a world that doesn’t exist and was never yours to begin with.” She ended with, “Team everyone’s happy or bust. Please.”

Her reaction echoed similar boundaries she set in November when fans speculated that her song “Emerald City” was aimed at comparing herself to Madelyn Cline.

At the time, she reminded listeners, “I write songs to relate to, not to make a point on the internet.”
