One Of Hollywood's Most Popular Plastic Surgeons Sued Over Breast Surgery

A popular Hollywood plastic surgeon is facing new legal trouble as a former patient has sued him over an alleged botched surgery.

Dr. Terry Dubrow, who stars in the reality shows "Botched" and "The Real Housewives of Orange County," is the subject of a startling new lawsuit that claims he left an ex-patient with severe bleeding.

While Terry Dubrow has served many of Hollywood's elite, the plastic surgeon has also faced his share of legal battles.

Dubrow has treated many A-list celebrities, including Lindsay Lohan, George Clooney, and fellow "Real Housewives" star Kim Zolciak.

According to TMZ, Dubrow is now being sued by a former patient who alleged the doctor caused severe bleeding, requiring two additional surgeries.

In the lawsuit, the client claimed Dubrow used "non-FDA approved mesh material" for a breast augmentation dating back to 2014.

The client stated that Dubrow's alleged actions resulted in a hematoma in her right breast that necessitated further surgeries.

Client Claims Dubrow Caused Financial Losses After Surgeries

The unnamed client elaborated in her suit, alleging that she suffered financial consequences from the surgery due to her inability to work.

In fact, the client stated that they were forced to spend more money on corrective surgeries.

The lawsuit revealed that Dubrow's former client is seeking reimbursement for past medical expenses and also wants to secure money for additional corrective procedures she may need in the future.

In a statement to TMZ, Dubrow appeared unmoved by the recent lawsuit, telling the outlet that the case would be "dismissed very quickly," noting the surgery took place 12 years ago and the claims were a "complete fantasy."

"The malicious prosecution counterclaim will be very interesting," he said.

Rumors Surrounding Dubrow's Work Have Circulated In Hollywood Circles Before

This isn't the first time Dubrow has been the subject of a lawsuit, according to Page Six.

In 2022, the famed doctor spoke with the publication about being "blindsided" by rumors that one of his "Real Housewives of Orange County" co-stars was discussing a former lawsuit filed by a mutual friend over a "botched boob job" years ago.

Dubrow explained that after initially learning of the claims, he was disheartened because he believed that meant he had done something wrong.

He then revealed that he had spoken with the mutual friend about the surgery and cleared the air.

The plastic surgeon added that the lawsuit, which the mutual friend claimed was "pushed by attorneys," was later dropped.

"It happened 20 years ago and it was one of these things that came and went and it really wasn’t a big deal," he said.

Dubrow Tells The Public To Mind Their Business About This Hollywood Star

According to The Blast, Dubrow recently addressed public inquiries about actor Bradley Cooper and his youthful appearance.

While he couldn't answer for certain, Dubrow said whatever the actor had or hasn't had done is "nobody's business."

Dubrow said that instead of focusing on the A-lister's personal life, the public should reflect on the 51-year-old's impressive career.

"He's a legendary actor, producer, and director. He's making a major contribution to society ... He's not a longevity influencer. He's not selling supplements and saying that his looks are due to the supplements," Dubrow said.

"He looks great," Dubrow added. "Maybe he's lost weight, maybe he's had surgery ... I don't know, I don't care, and nobody else should care either."

Dubrow Weighs In On The Ozempic Train Taking Over Hollywood

Speaking of losing weight, Dubrow recently discussed the diabetic drug Ozempic, which has taken over Hollywood and is promoted by massive stars like Serena Williams and Oprah.

During an episode of his "Between Us" podcast, Dubrow spoke with his wife about "Ozempic p-nis" and how it's positively affecting men.

According to the doctor, men losing weight by way of Ozempic may be seeing some unexpected growth around their private parts due to fat loss in the pubic area.

"Ozempic p-nis is a thing, and it’s good," he said.

In January 2024, the "Botched" star recalled his own experience with the drug, calling it a "miracle" before explaining he decided to cease using it because it suppressed his appetite.

"I thought, ‘You know what, I kind of want to get my appetite back. The holidays are coming, I want to enjoy myself,'" he said.
