‘Undercover Miss Hong’ Weekly Netflix K-Drama Sets January 2026 Release

It will be a strong start to the new year for K-dramas on Netflix, and one fans can look forward to is the exciting new weekly series from TVN, Undercover Miss Hong. The series stars Park Shin Hye, Go Kyung Pyo, Ha Yoon Kyung, and Cho Han Gyeol, and will be released on January 17, 2026. Here’s everything we know about Undercover Miss Hong on Netflix.

Undercover Miss Hong is an upcoming licensed South Korean Netflix Original crime-comedy series directed by Park Seon Ho (Business Proposal) and written by Moon Hyun Kyung (Into the Ring).

When is Undercover Miss Hong coming to Netflix?

While Netflix has not yet confirmed its release date, we know that Undercover Miss Hong will premiere on the South Korean network TVN on January 17, 2026.

Typically, Netflix releases K-drama episodes the same day they air in Korea, and we expect the same for Undercover Miss Hong.

There will be 16 episodes. New episodes will be available on Netflix on Saturdays and Sundays until the series finale on March 8, 2026.

Each episode will have an approximate runtime of 70 minutes.

What is the plot of Undercover Miss Hong?

Hong Geum Bo works as a supervisor at a trusted financial supervisory service. When suspicious fund flows are detected at Hanmin Securities, she goes undercover as a 20-year-old high-school graduate, Hong Jang Mi. It’s here that she runs into the man who once loved her, Sin Jeong U, the new CEO of Hanmin Securities, who is startled by the hire who looks eerily like the woman he once loved. However, it’s not long before they become complicatedly entangled.

Who are the cast members of Undercover Miss Hong?

The four confirmed leads of Undercover Miss Hong are Park Shin Hye, Go Kyung Pyo, Ha Yoon Kyung, and Cho Han Gyeol.

Park Shin Hye plays Hong Geum Bo/Hong Jang Mi. The actress has starred in Netflix dramas such as Doctor Slump, Sisyphus: The Myth, and Memories of the Alhambra. 

Go Kyung Pyo plays Sin Jeong U. The actor has starred in several Netflix dramas such as DP, My Roommate Is a Gumiho, and Private Lives. He has also starred in popular K-dramas such as Reply 1988, Chicago Typewriter, and Strongest Deliveryman.
