Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie Chrisley, did not hit a home run with their first gig out of prison.

The couple finally reunited last year after a presidential pardon ensured their release from their individual prisons and have now failed to win hearts with their first commercial appearance post-prison.

Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were sentenced to a joint 19 years in prison after a jury found them guilty for their involvement in bank fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy.

The couple appeared on the reality show and uploaded a clip about the moment the audience and judges discovered they were the ones hidden behind the huge croissant outfit on stage.

Todd and Julie were all smiles when the mask was lifted as they replied to host Nick Cannon and Robin Thicke that the show did not rank at the top of the list of the most dangerous things they have done.

The TV couple got tons of admiration from the audience, but the tone in the comment section signaled that the fans were not impressed with their outing.

"Ew…. Stop," one Instagram user, as another commenter added: "Oh look, it's the Chrisleys, that's a bad idea putting them on here, but hey, all good." A third commenter tagged the producer and called them out for bringing on "felons who have been pardoned by, and continue to support Trump" on the show.

A very displeased Instagram user expressed that they do not understand why people still find a place in their heart to love the Chrisleys after they were pardoned for their crimes and refused to feel guilty about the whole episode.

"Thought they were in jail," another commenter expressed, as one more user noticed that the couple still enjoys wearing stripes.

The reality star confessed that going to prison really taught him how fickle the concept of freedom is and how it can be gone in a whiff if handled carelessly.

He recalled losing the ability to eat what he liked, go where he desired, and basically do whatever he wanted, and feeling like he took all of them for granted. The TV personality continued that losing access to all these luxuries of life changed his perspective on life.

Todd also recalled feeling very burdened on his first night behind bars, which had him blaming God for his suffering. The reality star shared that when the lights went out at night, he would cry himself to sleep and ask God why he allowed him to suffer such a cruel fate.

Regardless of his whole debacle, Todd stated that he did not carry any shame for his wealth or how he made them. Instead, he saw himself as a victim of the poor legal system in America.

The Blast noted that Todd's eldest son, Kyle Chrisley, was arrested last December for assault and issuing a death threat at officers after his wife called them for help at their home.

According to reports from the Rutherford County Sheriff's office, Julie Chrisley told the officer on the phone that her husband was being dramatic and walking down the middle of a two-lane street.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they explained that they found Kyle unwilling to talk to them, and when they moved closer, he became very aggressive, charged violently at officers, and even threw punches at them.

He was eventually taken into custody "after a physical altercation and deployment of OC Spray." Kyle also threatened to kill all the officers as he punched three of them in the face and head, causing them multiple injuries.

The 56-year-old, back in September, touched on his troubled relationship with Kyle on the family's reality TV series "The Chrisleys: Back to Reality."

He shared that his son paid him a visit in prison and also apologized for his excesses as a son. The media personality admitted that while he was pleased to see his son, he was mainly shocked at the fact that he came by.

Todd stated that they had a brief conversation about the intricacies of their troubled relationship and how he felt sorry for everything that had happened. According to the reality star: "And he said, 'If I could take them back I would, but I can't, and I'm asking, can we just pick up from here and move forward'"

Todd and Kyle have bickered over the years due to his history with substance abuse and the reality star's son accusing his family of using his daughter for TV ratings and popularity.

How long will it take Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley to get back in the public's good books?
