‘The Abandons’ and ‘The Vince Staples Show’ Axed at Netflix
Netflix is no longer moving forward with “The Abandons” and “The Vince Staples Show,” according to multiple media reports. The streamer cancelled the Western drama starring Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson after one season and the biographical comedy after two seasons.
“The Abandons” had a troubled history well before its cancellation. Series showrunner Kurt Sutter, known for creating “Sons of Anarchy,” left the show before the end of production.
