Sydney Sweeney divided fans with her totally see-through dress in October. Showing up to a Variety event in her raciest look to date, the actress exposed her chest in a sheer silver gown, going ruched and cinched at the waist while drawing attention to her curves. Putting on an eye-popping display as she flashed her cleavage and freed the nipple, Sydney went viral within minutes, but not everyone was a fan. While many celebrated the 28-year-old's confident display, others felt that she was showing way too much. When a photo from Sydney's night out was reposted on an Instagram fan account recently, one user said that the dress could have benefited from a "cute little bra."

The White Lotus star, who has stated that her curves don't "define" her, showed off most of her chest while looking sensual and feminine in silver, with that sequin-effect finish bringing even more glam.

Going completely see-through in Christian Cowan, Sydney elevated her look with heels, showing off her new bob haircut as she ditched her signature long locks. The Miu Miu ambassador, who has since returned to her trademark bombshell long hair, dazzled with a full face of matte makeup, showing off glowy cheek highlighter over a matte base while wearing plenty of blush.
The response was mixed as the IG repost attracted comments. "Love ya girl but no need to wear a see-through dress. You have class so don’t stoop to Hollywood standards!" one user replied. "BEYOND GORG," another said.

Trying not to shame Sydney Sweeney, but joining the crowd thinking that the dress was too revealing, a third user wrote: "Gorgeous dress, she just needs a cute little bralette underneath, and it would have been perfect, not tacky." Elsewhere, Sydney had fans referencing her August American Eagle campaign, with one joking fan saying: "Those genes need to be passed on."
