‘RHOSLC’ Star Lisa Barlow Reacts To Ben Affleck Saying He Doesn’t 'Remember' Meeting Her

"Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star Lisa Barlow is scrambling to defend her reputation after claiming she had a run-in with "The Accountant" star Ben Affleck.

During an earlier episode of the hit Bravo reality series, Barlow sparked a firestorm with her co-stars after revealing she'd skipped a cast trip to rub elbows with Affleck and other megawatt celebrities.

In a new interview, Affleck was asked about his reported interaction with Lisa Barlow, and his reaction sent a wave of secondhand embarrassment through the Bravoverse, prompting Barlow to jump in with receipts of her own.

Speaking with her co-star, Angie Katsanevas, Barlow boasted that she'd be skipping the first cast trip of season 6 to spend the day with Affleck and Blake Lively.

"I don’t want to spend the night with [co-star Bronwyn Newport]. She’s a pathological liar. She can’t tell the truth to save her life. It’s like, disgusting," Barlow said. "Also, I have a work thing. It’s like, a big deal. I think what people forget is I have a very full life. Because I keep it kinda private. And like, I’m not gonna drop names, but like, I’ll be with Ben and Blake [Lively]."

Barlow, who's been the center of the "RHOSLC" drama since the beginning of season 1 in 2020, didn't stop there. She added, "I’ll be with Ben Affleck and you’ll be with Bronwyn."

Barlow's reported encounter with Affleck has been a hot-button topic throughout the season and on social media.

So much so that a recent interviewer asked Affleck about the purported run-in, and the actor appeared hesitant to get into the middle of the latest "Real Housewives" controversy.

"I don't want to get anybody in trouble," he said. "I don't know what this is—an event in Salt Lake City?"

Affleck explained that he hasn't been in Utah for nearly a decade, adding that Barlow "doesn't look familiar to me." He did, however, admit that it's possible he could've had an interaction with the TV personality that he doesn't remember.

"I meet a lot of people, I say hi to a lot of people," he said. "I don't want to be the jerk who's like, 'I did meet you.' You don't remember everyone you meet."

Affleck's response to Barlow's claim has sent some "RHOSLC" fans into a spiral online, sparking a flurry of reactions.

"Fact checking Lisa Barlow by actually questioning Ben Affleck during a press junket is why I watch #RHOSLC," a user wrote.

"Ben Affleck confirming he doesn't have a clue who Lisa Barlow is after her showing that OLDDDD picture of them together is frying me," another user posted. "Queen of delusion for real."

A third commenter shared, "I think it's hilarious that Ben Affleck said he doesn't know Lisa Barlow. He was trying not to embarrass her but he said he doesn't know her."

Barlow clapped back at Affleck's statement in a comment, writing, "SXSW. The Accountant 2, and it was a great movie and party."

She later shared a TikTok clip of Affleck posing on the red carpet; however, she is notably absent from the frame.

This Isn't The First Time Affleck Has Been Mentioned In A Popular Reality Show

Affleck's reported connection to Salt Lake City reality stars extends beyond Barlow.

In 2024, the actor was a trending topic after "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star Jen Affleck claimed she was a first cousin once removed of the A-list star.

The story drew the attention of many, who began their own research to determine whether the SLC TV personality actually had a familial connection to the 53-year-old.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Jen attempted to distance herself from her season 1 assertions, insisting the media "ran" with her joke, which snowballed into something bigger.

Her husband, Zac Affleck, also commented on the matter and appeared opposed to his wife speaking publicly about the "Good Will Hunting" actor in the first place.

"It's never been something serious," Zac said. "And so, when Jen started telling people that, I did tell her, 'I don't think you should say that anymore. I think that's probably gonna backfire.'"
