Meghan McCain is proving that repeated comments about her body can’t break her.

The daughter of the late Senator John McCain has endured relentless online criticism over both her outspoken views and her appearance. Yet one thing that remains clear is that she refuses to be silenced.

Now, McCain is speaking out once again, pushing back against Tucker Carlson's fresh commentary on her looks.

The former “The View” cohost took to social media with a lengthy statement addressing a recent episode of “The Tucker Carlson Show” in which her weight was discussed.

"Yes, I am very fat. I'm almost nine months pregnant with my third child," McCain wrote on X. "I am also very happy."

She went on to criticize Carlson, insisting that talking about her body on such a large platform was not Christian-like and contradicted the faith he often talks about.

McCain didn't hold back, pointing out that Carlson's actions reflect a deeper issue. "This kind of meanness to women and hypocrisy is a classic example of why the right has such a problem with women voters of my generation," she wrote.

Before ending her post, McCain noted that body-shaming is nothing new and has become unoriginal. "Don't feel bad for me," she advised. "People have been calling me fat since I started in media at age 22. It is old, lazy, tired."

On Carlson's show, which McCain referenced, he and Milo Yiannopoulos spoke about "closeted gays" in right-wing media. Yiannopoulos asked if there was "anything gayer than John McCain's bloodlust," per People Magazine

He then continued with a string of remarks about Megha, "I mean, he's even got the fat friend. It's his daughter. He even bred the fat best friend. Is there a more ostentatious fat h-g in America than Meghan McCain? You know, she hates herself. She's fat. She's crazy. She's every gay man's dream."

McCain's mention of her pregnancy in her response to Carlson wasn't the first time she shared the news.

Back in June, she revealed to People Magazine while interviewing Usha Vance on her podcast,  “2Way's Citizen McCain with Meghan McCain,” that she was in her second trimester and expecting a boy.

McCain and her husband, Ben Domenech, are already parents to two daughters, five-year-old Liberty Sage, and two-year-old Clover Jade.

Speaking about the upcoming addition, the 41-year-old admitted she felt "nervous" about becoming a boy mom and raising three children.

McCain being called out by Carlson for her weight isn't the only appearance-related backlash she has faced in recent months.

According to The Blast, in September, McCain came under fire after mocking Greta Thunberg in a now-deleted post, where she dismissed the activist's credibility by ridiculing her "uneven bangs and sh-tty Lord Farquaad hair."

The jab quickly backfired as critics brought up old photos of McCain's own hairstyles, highlighting the irony and insisting she wasn't in a position to throw stones.

Reshared images showed McCain sporting a faux mohawk and other bold hair experiments over the years. One fan even posted a side-by-side collage of her in puffs and a ponytail, quipping, "Who's really doing the hair shaming here???"

Despite often facing heat for her bold opinions, McCain hasn't shied away from sharing them. Just last month, The Blast reported that she called out Megyn Kelly after Kelly claimed Jeffrey Epstein didn't qualify as a "pedophile" because he targeted "barely legal" girls rather than eight-year-olds.

McCain slammed the remarks, calling them "disgusting" and an attempt to downplay the seriousness of Epstein's crimes. She then noted that the term "barely legal" is rooted in pornography.

Ultimately, she emphasized that the legal definition is what matters, and if the law defines it as pedophilia, then that's the standard.

Another daring view McCain shared recently came after Violet Affleck delivered a speech at a United Nations event about the importance of wearing masks to prevent a resurgence of COVID-19 five years on.

Per The Blast, McCain took issue with it, calling Violet's speech "outrageous" and labeling her a "nepo baby" whose presence was inappropriate.

Her comments, posted on X and later deleted, sparked criticism for hypocrisy, as McCain herself is often described as a political "nepo baby."

In response to the outrage, the columnist defended her stance, arguing that her own parents would never have supported her speaking on such sensitive issues without proper knowledge or preparation.
