Mariah Carey's Son Moroccan Is His Father Nick Cannon's 'Carbon Copy' In New Snaps

Mariah Carey's twins, Moroccan and Monroe, whom she shares with Nick Cannon, recently took to their respective social media accounts to share new snaps of themselves looking all grown-up.
However, what caught the eyes of many was Moroccan's strong resemblance to his famous father, with his twin sister even alluding to that.
About a decade after their split, Mariah Carey was asked about her co-parenting effort with the "Wild 'N Out" star, but she coyly dodged the question.
Nick Cannon's Son With Mariah Carey Looks Just Like The Comedian
Carey's children, Moroccan and Monroe, showed love to each other on social media as they both shared sweet photo booth snaps of themselves with their respective followers.
Monroe posted a fun photo booth snap where she can be seen sticking her tongue out. For his part, Moroccan shared several black and white photos of himself posing in a black hooded jumper while rocking a star patch on his face. He simply captioned it with a single bat emoji.
Fans were quick to point out that the 14-year-old is the spitting image of his father, Nick Cannon, and his sister also shared the same thought, as she took to the comment section to ask: "Wait, why is it giving dad lookalike?"
Fans Gush Over Moroccan's Resemblance To His Father
Several fans flooded the comment section of Moroccan's post to compare his look with his father's, with many branding him the actor's "carbon copy" and "twin."
A person wrote, "Mimi's genes fighting for dear life," seemingly referencing how Moroccan took more to his father than Carey.
"Looking more like dad every day!" one user said, while another added, "I thought I was looking at your father's throwback pics lol you are his twin."
"Definitely @nickcannon twin back in his Nickelodeon days," someone else wrote.
"Why is this literally Nick?" another Instagram user questioned.
On her photo, Monroe received love from rapper Kanye West's daughter, North West, who wrote, "ur sooo prettyyyy imu."
Moroccan was a proud sibling and returned the gesture as he took to his sister's comment section to write, "My twin."
Nick Cannon Praised His Daughter Monroe For Being His 'Best Therapist'

Moroccan and Monroe have spent their lives in the public eye, often appearing on stage during their mother's legendary Christmas tours.
The "All I Want For Christmas Is You" singer welcomed them with Cannon in April 2011 in L.A., with Monroe arriving first.
Back in 2021, the "Love Don't Cost A Thing" actor weighed in on his eldest child's personality and qualities, particularly lauding her for her emotional intelligence despite her young age, calling her his "best therapist."
"My daughter, really, she's so in tune and in line and wise beyond her years. I got a lot of therapists, but she's probably my best therapist," he told People Magazine at the time.
"She keeps me in check. She's so pure and honest...She's my eldest child. Even though they're twins, she came out first, and she lets everybody know it. She's helped me keep it strong," the comedian added.
The Comedian Says He Is 'Excited' About All His Kids

Alongside Moroccan and Monroe, Cannon is also father to Golden, Powerful Queen, & Rise, all of whom he shares with Brittany Bell; twins Zion & Zillion, and daughter Beautiful with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
He also shares two children with Alyssa Scott, daughter Halo, and son Zen, who died at five months old in 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
The "Drumline" actor is very joyful about his large blended family, telling People in May 2022 that he's "excited" about all his kids.
"Every day I just wake up excited as a father," he said. "I'm so excited about all my kids. Constantly, from every aspect of it. From them getting citizen of the month awards in the first grade to the birth of the new ones."
Nick Cannon's Blended Family Costs Him Over $3 Million Annually

Despite being "excited" about being a father, Cannon has also opened up about the challenges of raising such a large family, saying it's his "biggest guilt."
"Being a father of multiple kids, it's always the biggest guilt on me is that I don't get to spend enough time with all my children," he admitted during a December 2022 episode of "The Checkup with Dr. Agus" on Paramount+. "One 'cause I'm constantly working and two because I'm just spread thin."
After reports surfaced that Cannon pays up to $3 million annually in child support payments, the comedian spoke out to refute the claims, stating that he spends "a lot more than that" on his children.
