The TV star was present at the grand opening for goGLOW in Sherman Oaks on Friday, where she gave a crucial update about the condition that has plagued her face for years now.

Glanville emphasized that she was beyond relieved to get a medical diagnosis just yesterday, and the news made her mother very emotional. Glanville revealed that the condition had so much of an adverse effect on her social life and also left her with lots of dark thoughts.

The star and her family were, however, relieved to have gotten to the bottom of the health mystery. Despite this amazing news, the TV star did not share the exact name of her illness, but TMZ confirmed that she is looking a lot better these days.

The star was spotted beaming with smiles at the event and even started grooving to the DJ's set as soon as it began.

In November, the TV star assured fans in an interview that things were more upbeat with her compared to the previous month since her health woes began. While it has been a slow process, Glanville stated that things were getting back to the status quo, and she felt like herself again.

As noted by The Blast, Glanville shared that since moving to a new home, her mental health had greatly improved and given her a fresh start by providing space to refresh and restart.

She is now ready to channel all the renewed energy into various TV projects, including a YouTube series. For this new frontier, the Bravo alum affirmed that it has been exciting to grow and explore new platforms.

The former reality star has tried nearly every means possible to bring her health woes to a halt, including a DIY treatment that left her with chemical burns on her face. In August, she reportedly applied the Nair hair removal cream on her face, with hopes that it would get rid of the parasite.

Unfortunately, the treatment resulted in nasty burns, as she explained in a TikTok video. It was described as a cheaper alternative to chemical peels and lasers.

Despite the DIY failure due to misapplication, Glanville encouraged people who intend to follow in her footsteps to conduct a patch test before going in for the big scoop.

Glanville has let the world into her situation since 2023, when she placed the blame on her back and forth with Bravo and NBC for causing a significant level of stress, which birthed her mystery illness. In her words:

"Some doctors say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it's stress-induced edema. I personally say it's Bravo."

The Former Model Made An Emergency Trip To The Hospital Earlier In The Year

Earlier in April, The Blast shared that Glanville landed in the emergency room due to complications from her facial parasite, which also resulted in significant pain.

She revealed on social media that movement was significantly restricted in her neck and head for four hours earlier that day, prompting her to call for help.

"I called 911, had a lovely trip in the ambulance. Now I am at this amazing place after sitting in a wheelchair in the waiting room for four hours," she wrote alongside a picture of her on the hospital bed surrounded by monitors and wires.

Glanville became vulnerable later in the post when she registered her desperation to find a doctor committed to healing her and helping others in her shoes find freedom from the painful symptoms.

She confessed that a few people with similar symptoms to hers have reached out to her over the past few months, making it imperative for her to find a lasting solution to the illness.

Her social, mental, and physical health was not the only thing her health challenge affected. Glanville disclosed that treating the ailment also drained her purse of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

She stated that she was on the verge of going bankrupt after spending more than $113,000 on out-of-pocket treatment for the illness, due to some issues with her insurance plan.

"I don't have the means to go anywhere at this point. I'm online every day, going down a different rabbit hole. It's exhausting. It's all-consuming," she stressed.

Glanville added that the condition of her face also robbed her of the confidence to get intimate with men despite her sensual nature. She confessed to now feeling insecure about herself and getting anxious over most things, and also losing her entire sense of self.
