Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Breaks Naruto Franchise Tradition With Seasonal Anime
The next entry in the Naruto franchise will break the franchise's longest trend, and we couldn't be happier. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will serve as the second part to Boruto: Naruto Next Generation, effectively continuing the on-screen story that started with Naruto Uzumaki back in 2002. The new series will be based on the ongoing manga of the same name, currently written and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex kicked off in the fall of 2023, and the anime is expected to be released in Japan sometime between 2026 and 2027.
