Blake Lively's text messages continue to be a revealing element in her ongoing lawsuit against former "It Ends With Us" co-star Justin Baldoni, and the latest revelation involves her fractured friendship with her former bestie, Taylor Swift.
Rumors have long swirled that the two had a falling out with each other, but Lively's text messages, which were unsealed on Tuesday, January 20, during the court proceedings, confirm their friendship is not what it once was.
Blake Lively Describes Herself As A 'Bad Friend' In Taylor Swift Text Exchange

According to PEOPLE, although the text messages do not name Lively and Swift, additional documents in the case confirm that the messages are indeed between the two.
The "Gossip Girl" star's messages began with asking the Grammy winner about the status of their friendship, while acknowledging that she had been self-centered.
"I have no reason to ask, but I donno [sic], I've been feeling like I should... is everything ok? I felt like a bad friend lately because I was such a sad sack who only talked about my own sh-t for months. You were generous to not only be the key person there for me during all of it, but also to let me off the hook for being so in it," the actress wrote to Swift.
"I always want the opportunity to be a better friend if there's something I unintentionally did," Lively's messages continued. "I know how busy and taxed you are - physically, emotionally, practically, so I don't expect any more from you ever. Just want to make sure all is good."
Taylor Swift Admits She Was Bothered By How Blake Lively Talked To Her

In response to Lively's texts, Swift shared her frustrations regarding their friendship.
"I think I'm just exhausted in every avenue of my life and in recent months had been feeling a little bit of a shift in the way you talk to me. Yes there has been a lot of Justin stuff but I've been through things like this before and I know how all consuming it is," Swift replied, per the outlet.
The singer elaborated on her issues with Lively, noting that their exchanges felt inauthentic in comparison to their past conversations.
"It's more like... and I feel really bad saying anything about this because your texts have been so nice in their intent but your last few... it's felt like I was reading a mass corporate email sent to 200 employees," Swift wrote.
She also acknowledged the stress that Lively has been under due to the ongoing, and very public, case against Baldoni.
"And it feels awful to be in any way critical of any way you process what you've been going through, but I just kinda miss my funny, dark, normal-speaking friend who talks to me as herself... And I know you feel attacked from all sides for ridiculous reasons, so you're feeling like you have to overly explain things," Swift's message read further.
The singer confirmed that the drama surrounding the case "caused a little distance," but wrote that Lively doesn't "need to apologize" and instead "just come back please."
Lively responded and apologized to Swift for her behavior, revealing that due to her issues with Baldoni, she feels "so deeply misunderstood that I don't trust my judgement of myself anymore. This f-cking guy and what he did to me gave me an identity crisis."
Taylor Swift Set To Be Called As Hostile Witness Pending Trial

According to TMZ, should the Lively vs. Baldoni case go to trial, Taylor Swift will be called to the stand to testify as a hostile witness. Up until this point, Swift has been able to avoid testifying in depositions for the lawsuit, but that will change if the case moves to trial.
Per the outlet, the decision to call Swift to testify is due to the recent text message leaks that clearly show her knowledge of the issues going on between Lively and Baldoni during and after filming of "It Ends With Us."
Additionally, Swift will be called as a hostile witness because Baldoni's legal team believes she had a clear bias against the actor-director, so she can expect to be heavily interrogated if a trial happens.
Blake Lively's Behavior And Demands During Filming Revealed
Per the Daily Mail, documents in the court deposition of Lively's lawsuit against Baldoni reveal the statements of a senior productive executive on "It Ends With Us," in which the actress was described as a "f-cking terrorist" due to her demands on-set.
The Columbia Pictures executive, Andrea Giannetti, also shared via sworn testimony that the film's production was a "sh-t show." Giannetti also stated that Lively referred to Baldoni as "unprepared, indecisive, and inexperienced."
According to Giannetti, Lively also believed Baldoni was overly sensitive to any criticism while on set and that she was hesitant to voice any feedback because he "wouldn't take it well."
Ben Affleck Was Also Roped Into The 'It Ends With Us' Drama

According to Us Weekly, newly released court documents confirm that Lively called Affleck for help dealing with the ongoing breakdown of her relationship with Baldoni while the two were filming.
Referring to Baldoni as a "chaotic clown" via email to Affleck, the actress asked for his assistance, noting that it was "zero pressure" for him to actually help her.
Affleck's response was not included in the court documents.
