Ben Affleck Reunites With His Ex-Wife For Festive Shopping With The Actor's Son Samuel

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were seen together on Sunday, presumably shopping for Christmas alongside his son, Samuel, in L.A.

The exes have kept a cordial relationship since their divorce, with the "Argo" actor describing the singer as "spectacular" back in April.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez also ran into each other last week as they both attended a school play that featured their respective children, Emme and Fin.

There's no love lost between former Hollywood power couple Lopez and Affleck, despite their highly publicized divorce in the closing stages of last year.

The "Jenny From The Block" singer and the "Accountant 2" actor reunited for a festive afternoon on Sunday in Los Angeles, where they went shopping alongside Affleck's teenage son.

According to the Daily Mail, they appeared in high spirits as they reportedly stopped by clothing brands Sezane and then Doen before making their way to the farmers' market, where they could grab something to eat.

Lopez wore a brown shade polkadot A-line dress with a halter neckline, paired with a knitted white sweater she wore over her shoulders. She also wore dark brown lipstick and completed the look with chocolate brown cowboy boots and a small leather purse.

Affleck, on the other hand, kept it casual in brown trousers paired with a taupe, linen button-down and matching blazer jacket. His son wore a simple grey T-shirt with cream colored sweatpants and white sneakers.

The Former Couple Ran Into Each Other At A School Play

The outing is another testament to the cordial relationship they now share since Lopez filed for divorce from him in August 2024.

Just about a week ago, they endured an awkward outing when they both turned up at a school play their children, Emme and Fin, featured in.

The couple reportedly didn't speak to each other at the event, as they experienced the show from different sections of the venue.

The "Good Will Hunting" star attended the play with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares three children, Violet, Samuel, and Fin. Lopez shares twin Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

 A source told the news outlet that Affleck "spoke with others" but did not "acknowledge" Lopez outside.

'No Romantic Reunion' Between Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez

Fans shouldn't read their constant sightings as a romantic reconciliation of some sort, as an insider already dispelled rumors that they'll make up.

The talks intensified when Affleck attended the New York premiere of "Kiss of the Spider Woman" in October, but the source quickly shut down the rumor mill, although they admitted they're in a "good place."

"There's no romantic reunion with Ben," the source told People Magazine. "They're in a really good place. They continue to support each other. They're both proud of what they accomplished together."

They went further to note that the singer was "doing well" and focusing "on things that make her happy - family and work."

"She always enjoyed working with Ben, this hasn't changed," the source added.

Ben Affleck Had Nice Words For His Ex-Wife On Her Performance In The New Film

During their reunion on the "Kiss Of The Spiderwoman" red carpet, Affleck and Lopez appeared at ease as they posed for photos together and chatted.

The two-time Oscar winner produced the movie through his production company Artists Equity, which he co-founded with Matt Damon.

Speaking about her performance in the film, Affleck described her as "amazing" and went further to heap praises on her for her tireless work ethic.

"She's amazing in the movie," he told Extra TV. "I just can't wait for you, the audience, to see the movie. I'm as proud of this movie as any that I've ever been involved with. I'm really excited to be here tonight."

"She just was going to give it her all, and she did," Affleck noted. "She worked enormously hard. You get to see all of her many gifts. She's somebody that grew up watching classic musicals."

Meanwhile, Lopez's performance in the film has drawn Oscar buzz, but the father-of-three said he's just aiming to produce a "great" project.

"I like to try to develop my own standard for what I really like," he said. "I'm enormously proud of the movie. I always will be. I love this movie."

Jennifer Lopez Is In A 'Really Good Headspace'

After sparking reunion rumors due to their red carpet outing for their film, another source shared with Us Weekly that "there is nothing going on between them."

Another noted that the actress has since moved on and is thriving as a single lady.

"She feels more comfortable in her skin than ever," the source told the news outlet. "There's a sense of independence and peace about her. She's in a really good headspace right now."

They further noted that Affleck and Lopez are in "a good place" despite their divorce.

"There's still a lot of love between them, but they both understand they shouldn't be married," the insider explained.
