Barron Trump's Female Friend's One-Word Remark About Him That Allegedly Enraged Her 'Jealous' Ex

More information has emerged regarding Barron Trump's heroic act of saving a female friend of his from an allegedly violent ex-boyfriend.

A UK court heard that the individual, Matvei Rumianstev, attacked the woman after she referred to the son of the U.S. president with a term of endearment.

This comes days after it was revealed that Barron Trump admitted in an email that his body was "racing with adrenaline" after watching the allegedly violent incident unfold on FaceTime.

UK Court Hears Reason Behind Alleged Assault Incident Linked To Barron Trump's Female Friend

A man on trial in the UK for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman reportedly targeted her after she referred to Barron Trump, President Trump's youngest son, as a "sweetheart," a court heard Friday.

However, Matvei Rumianstev, a 22-year-old Russian national, denied attacking his ex-girlfriend out of jealousy over her friendship with Barron.

Prosecutors claim Rumianstev "flew into a rage" when he saw a FaceTime call from Barron on the woman's phone in the early hours of January 18 last year.

He allegedly raped her following the call and later texted her, reading: "You started calling him sweetheart, I felt so unwell."

Rumianstev, however, told the court that he answered the call only to calm a drunken argument with his girlfriend, not out of anger.

"I don't know why I did that, maybe I thought she would realize that her behavior was unreasonable, [that] she wouldn't behave like this in front of someone else, especially Barron Trump," he said, per the New York Post.

Barron Trump Contacted Police During The Alleged Assault

During the alleged incident, Barron reportedly contacted British police after witnessing the confrontation on FaceTime.

The woman testified that his intervention may have prevented further harm.

Rumianstev admitted he had seen similar calls from Barron before but claimed he "didn't attach much weight" to it at the time.

He insisted his frustration was with his girlfriend's behavior toward Barron, not the call itself.

"What I was really unhappy about was that she was frankly leading [Trump] on," he said. "I am being portrayed as a jealous person who can lose his temper due to jealousy. I want to just make clear that her actions towards him were wrong, and it was not fair."

The defendant has pleaded not guilty to the charges, which include assault and rape.

Outside the courtroom, sources say Barron has been keeping a low profile.

People close to the family report that he has been working to soften his Slovenian accent to sound more like his American peers, reportedly taking elocution lessons to boost his confidence when speaking.

Pastor Claims Late-Night Call Brought Barron Trump 'Very Close' To Embracing Christianity

Meanwhile, last December, a MAGA-supporting pastor shared details of a late-night conversation he says brought Barron close to a religious awakening.

The pastor, Stuart Knechtle, who has 2.4 million followers on TikTok, spoke about the call during George Janko's faith-focused podcast.

Knechtle recalled speaking with the president's 19-year-old son around 12:30 a.m., describing him as "very close" to embracing Christianity.

"I thought I was hitting him with everything but the kitchen sink when it came to all the evidence for God and Christianity," said the 37-year-old, per The Blast. "I thought I was really on, I was pumped. And at the very end, I came up pretty much totally open-handed with nothing. But I brought up dreams and revelations."

In Christianity, dreams and revelations are often seen as ways God communicates guidance or warnings to believers. Knechtle told Barron about a friend in Africa who witnessed thousands of Muslims converting to Christianity through dreams.

"He responded, 'Oh, that's a very, very interesting point, and you have eyewitness testimony…' and said he was processing it," Knechtle said.

The pastor added that this part of the conversation seemed to resonate most with Barron: "He's very close to putting his faith in Christ. very close."
