What’s Coming to Netflix UK in January 2026

January is shaping up to be an exciting month for new movies and TV shows on Netflix UK. In addition to originals such as Bridgerton, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials Mystery, and His & Hers, there are also strong licensed titles such as The Good Doctor, The Life of Chuck, and The Amazing World of Gumball.

This list will continue to be a work-in-progress, updated throughout December 2025 and into January 2026 as we learn of more titles scheduled to release during the month. Please keep it bookmarked. 

As always, while this list covers everything new coming up, we also recommend familiarizing yourself with all the movies, series, and games scheduled to leave Netflix throughout January 2026 here. 

Coming to Netflix UK in January TBD

• 100 Meters (2025) –  Japanese anime film centered on a gifted 100m sprinter, Togashi, who forms an intense rivalry with transfer student Komiya. 
• The Amazing World of Gumball (Seasons) – Animation series from Cartoon Network centered on 12-year-old blue cat Gumball, and his eccentric friends and family.
• The Good Doctor (Seasons) – Freddie Highmore stars as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a surgeon with autism and savant syndrome.
• Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024) – Ghostbusters, new and old, must join forces to take down an ancient evil, or a new ice age will devastate the earth. 

• Free Bert (Season 1) N – Comedy series from Bert Kreischer as a father attempting to fit into Beverly Hills when his daughter enrolls at an elite private school.
• French Girl (2024) – Romantic comedy starring Zach Braff, Evelyne Brochu, and Vanessa Hudgens.
• Hot Pursuit (2015) – Reece Witherspoon stars as Cooper, a by-the-book cop who is ordered to protect the widow of a drug boss.
• The Life of Chuck (2025) – Mike Flanagan directs this Stephen King adaptation, which stars Tom Hiddleston as Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz and his life story told in reverse.

• Lisa Frankenstein (2024) – Kathryn Newton stars as Lisa, a teenager whose crush just so happens to be a corpse. When he is brought back to life, the pair embark on an epic journey.
• Raging Bull (1980) – Beloved sports drama starring Robert De Niro, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance as Jake La Motta. 
• Timelesz Project -Real- (2024) – Documentary.
• Who Killed Lin & Megan? The Chillenden Murders (2017) – Crime documentary.
• Your Turn to Kill (2021) – Japanese drama.

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 1, 2026

• Dr. Seuss’s Red Fish, Blue Fish (Season 2) N – Animated series adapted from Dr. Seuss’ beloved novel starring Brian Drummond and Andrea Libman. 
• Love from 9 to 5 (Season 1) N – Mexican drama centered on a complicated relationship between an employee and the son of the CEO of an underwear company.
• My Korean Boyfriend (Season 1) N – Brazilian reality series focused on five women looking for love in South Korea.
• Run Away (Season 1) N – British drama adapted from Harlan Coben’s novel starring James Nesbitt and Ruth Jones about a father searching for his lost daughter.

• Time Flies (Season 1) N – Argentinian drama about two women running a fumigation business who are threatened by a shady client who draws them back into a life they fought to escape.

• Land of Sin (Season 1) N -Swedish drama centered on a detective in the midst of a tense investigation of a missing teenager.

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 7, 2026

• Marcello Hernández: American Boy (2026) N – Stand Up comedy special.
• Unlocked: A Jail Experiment (Season 2) N – Documentary focused on a social experiment conducted by a sheriff to give those who are incarcerated more agency.

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 8, 2026

• HIS & HERS (Limited Series) N –  Tessa Thompson stars as Anna, a journalist who clashes with a suspicious detective when he investigates a murder in her hometown. 

• Love Is Blind: Germany (Season 2) N – Netflix’s beloved dating series returns for a second round in Germany.

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 9, 2026

• Alpha Males (Season 4) N – Spanish comedy series.
• People We Meet on Vacation (2025) N – Emily Bader stars as Poppy, and Tom Blyth as Alex, two best friends who, despite living far apart, make sure to spend at least one week together on Summer vacation every year.

• The Boyfriend (Season 2) N – Japanese reality romance series.

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 14, 2026

• The Queen of Flow (Season 3) N – Colombian musical drama series centered on a young composer from the streets of Medellín who is wrongly imprisoned in New York City. With her family murdered and her music stolen, she returns to Medellín to enact her revenge.

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 15, 2026

• Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials (Season 1) N – Crime drama based on Agatha Christie’s beloved novel with an ensemble cast starring Martin Freeman, Helena Bonham Carter, Corey Mylchreest, Mia-McKenna-Bruce, and Edward Bluemel.

• Love Through a Prism (Season 1) N – Japanese anime series set in the early 1900s, where a Japanese exchange student enrolls at a prestigious art school.
• The Upshaws (Part 7) N – The finale of Netflix’s family sitcom.
• To Love, To Lose (Season 1) N – Turkish drama series.

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 16, 2026

• Can This Love be Translated? (Season 1) N – Korean romantic-comedy series starring Kim Seon Ho as Ju Ho Jin, who becomes an interpreter for Go Youn Jung’s Cha Mu Hui. Despite their differences in love and life, the pair gradually grow closer, before romance soon blooms.

• No Tail to Tell (Season 1) N – New weekly Korean drama from SBS starring Kim Hye Yoon as a mythical creature known as a Gumiho, whose life changes forever when she meets an international footballer played by Lomon.
• The RIP (2026) N – Crime-action drama starring long-time duo and best friends Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

• Star Search (Live) N – Talent show hosted by Anthony Anderson.
• WWE: Unreal (Season 2) N – Go behind the scenes of the writer’s room of the WWE as the creative team tries to craft unforgettable moments inside the squared circle.

• Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart (2025) N – crime documentary.

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 22, 2026

• Cosmic Princess Kaguya! (2026) N – Japanese anime film and retelling of Japan’s beloved fable of The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, this time, Iroha is a normal high-school girl attempting to juggle school life, whose life is disrupted by a mysterious girl from the moon.

• Finding Her Edge (Season 1) N – Drama series centered on three sisters struggling with the pressures of family legacy. 

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 23, 2026

• Skyscraper Live (Live) N – Alex Honnold will attempt to climb one of the world’s tallest buildings live from Taipei, Taiwan. 
• The Big Fake (2026) N – Italian period drama set in 1970s, Rome, where Toni arrives with big dreams of becoming a great artist but inadvertently goes on the path to become one of the greatest of all forgers.

• Mike Epps: Delusional (2026) N – Stand-up comedy special.

What’s Coming to Netflix UK on January 29, 2026

• Bridgerton (Season 4 Part 1) N – The fourth installment of the Bridgerton story will focus on Benedict Bridgerton, who falls in love with the mysterious Sophie Baek at a masked ball.
