The Peripheral: Prime Video's Cancelled Sci-Fi Gem Based on William Gibson's Masterpiece
Prime Video's The Peripheral may have been cancelled, but it's still a perfect weekend binge. The 2022 sci-fi series created by Westworld's Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy is based on the 2014 novel of the same name by William Gibson. Made up of eight hour-long episodes, The Peripheral performed well with critics upon its release. Unfortunately, it was cancelled in 2023 due to various issues, but the series remains perfectly bingeable.
