In a series of posts, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars delighted fans after reuniting for the holidays for the first time in years. Of course, Teresa and Melissa have had their fair share of ups and downs, but after the former extended an unlikely olive branch, the two families have vowed to move forward for good.

This holiday season, the "RHONJ" stars highlighted their new normal with a carousel of Instagram photos, showcasing the famous families with bright smiles inside Melissa's New Jersey home. Not only was Teresa posed next to her husband, Louis Ruelas, but she was also standing proudly next to her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa.
It's been several years since Melissa and Teresa have spent the Christmas holiday together. During earlier seasons of the Jersey-based iteration of the popular reality show, the two reality stars clashed over Christmas traditions and family loyalty.
According to a previous report, Melissa opened up about the family's reunion days before the special occasion. "Yes, we will at my house. It's a Christmas miracle," the mother of three said. "We need this time in this healing moment... I'm hosting Christmas Eve at my house. We do the seven fishes."

Prior to the holidays, Melissa and Teresa opened up about their fresh start at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. "We are in a different place we than we were a couple months ago. Let's just say that… everybody’s working on it. We're working on it. We're trying to move forward and we've, you know, hashed a lot of things out privately without all of this. And I think that's a good thing," Melissa said.
Weeks before that, Teresa shared a similar statement during a podcast appearance, adding that she decided to reach out to her brother and sister-in-law after having a heartfelt conversation with her daughter, Gia Giudice, about the importance of family.
"So I want to be a good example for my children," she said. "Be a beautiful family. If someone doesn’t get along, be the bigger person. Try to make it work. I’ve got to practice what I preach."

Another 'Real Housewives' Star Had A Christmas She Wasn't Expecting

Teresa and Melissa aren't the only "Real Housewives" stars to have an unexpected Christmas this year, as Atlanta's Kandi Burruss shared during an Amazon Livestream broadcast that she would spend the holidays with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Todd Tucker.
The update came a month after the Xscape singer revealed that they were splitting after 11 years of marriage. "Even though we have all this mess going on right now, we still gonna do it together for our kids," she said. "So, we are spending Christmas in New York."
Since announcing their divorce, Burruss and Tucker have been embroiled in court drama, as Tucker is seeking custody of their two minor children while also hoping to have the prenup disregarded.
Burruss, on the other hand, filed motions asking the court to review footage from the pair's wedding special, "Kandi's Wedding," during which Tucker admitted to signing the legally binding contract freely and willingly.
Burruss' New Broadway Show Came At The 'Perfect' Time

Part of the reason Burruss spent the Christmas holiday with Tucker was her ongoing role in the Broadway musical "& Juliet." She began her run in December 2025 and will remain until March 2026. In another report from The Blast, Burruss called the timing of her appearance in the Tony-nominated musical "f-cking perfect," sharing that being under the bright lights has allowed her to focus on the present rather than the drama in her personal life.
The musical is powered by the original hits of famed music producer Max Martin and features classics from Ariana Grande, NSYNC, Kelly Clarkson, and even Pink! One of Pink's songs that Burruss performs in the show features moving lyrics that remind listeners they're flawless just the way they are.
According to Burruss, singing the words every night has done something for her that she didn't realize she needed. "I'm always in my head, doubting myself — even though I guess it may look to other people like I never have doubts. But people just see the shiny part of the coin, right?" she said. "You don't see the other side where it's kind of dull. It's kind of like, 'Oh my God, I don't know if this is what I'm supposed to be doing?' So I'm really hearing those words now."
