Taylor Swift’s Strapless Mini Dress Is ‘Falling Off Of Her’

Pop star Taylor Swift finally made an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” before his show ends in May. Although she did a lot of promotion for her latest album, “The Life of A Showgirl,” on other late-night talk shows, this one promoted her new docuseries, which takes fans on a behind-the-scenes journey of what she experienced on The Eras Tour. Although most people in the audience were ecstatic to see her on stage, a lot of people watching at home had a lot of questions about her outfit, which looked like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.

“What is she wearing?” one user asked on a Reddit post that showed two photos of the “Wood” singer on the show. Although there were a lot of thoughts being tossed around about why the dress didn’t work, one user attributed it to her bad posture.
“It’s fitted badly, or her posture is a problem. A portrait collar like that should not be threatening a wardrobe malfunction. There ought to be a fitted bodice (in a designer dress, possibly boned) that stays up on its own (UP being the key term), and then the wide wings of the collar (which also act as sleeves) have stiff lining to make them stick out,” they wrote. “This can be a dramatic, elegant cut when it fits correctly, and the wearer carries herself with good posture.”

One user joked that her stylist “literally hates her” while many questioned why she would wear that to a sit-down interview and not a red carpet premiere. “Have you seen her standing, though? It’s also too short! It was clearly not made for a tall woman with a long torso,” another venture.
“Yeah, I completely understand how hard it can be for tall and/or long torso girls because if it isn’t long enough off the rack, there isn’t anything you can do, and a tailor can’t magically lengthen it, but with Taylor, it’s so annoying because she could have every garment custom-made for her,” another added. “She should do that at least for appearances like this.”

Although some thought that she was intentionally trying to be more risqué with the outfit, one user wrote, “Seriously, it is sitting way too low! I’m not someone who’s bothered by a bit of cleavage, but this honestly just looks uncomfortable and like it’s falling off of her. I have the urge to yank it up higher as well.”
Another agreed, adding, “There’s definitely a difference between a well-fitted dress that shows off cleavage and one that is just not properly fitted and looks like it’s about to slide down the chest. I know I’d be worried about it all night if I were wearing it.”

Plenty of fans agreed they also wouldn’t wear a dress like that. “Exactly! And yeah, if I were her, I’d be so uncomfortable and distracted all night worrying that the dress would fall down,” one user wrote.
“One wrong move and she’s gonna have a nip slip,” another joked, while a third added, “It looks like she’s naked, and the red thing is the censoring.”
“Holy crap, she is about to lose that whole getup when it slides about a half inch further. It’s giving after-shower towel vibes,” read another comment. One reply read: “Shower towels are probably better situated.”
