Hewitt confirmed the birth of their daughter in an Instagram post shared on Thursday. 

The 29-year-old revealed that the baby girl, named Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, was born on December 12, 2025. 

The name appears to honor Pete Davidson’s late father, Scott Davidson. 

Alongside the announcement, the proud mom shared the first photos of their newborn, showing intimate hospital moments with Pete standing close by.

In the caption, Hewitt wrote, “Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025 scottie rose hewitt davidson.” 

She followed with a deeply personal note, adding, “My best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief. - Elsie.” 

The post also included a lighthearted message attributed to Pete, which read, “wu tang forever. - pete.”

One photo showed the actor holding his swaddled daughter near a window, while another captured a tender moment of him leaning in to kiss Hewitt as she cradled their baby.

Pete And Hewitt’s Journey To Parenthood

Pete Davidson and Hewitt began dating in March, and by July, the couple publicly confirmed they were expecting their first child. 

Hewitt shared the pregnancy news via an Instagram photo carousel, revealing her baby bump for the first time. 

She captioned the post with a blunt but playful line that read “welp now everyone knows we had sex.”

The photos showed the lovebirds cuddled together, with Pete resting his hand on her stomach. 

The model also included an ultrasound image, along with photos of the couple posing outdoors in coordinated casual outfits. 

She wore a white cropped top and matching sweatpants, while the “SNL” star opted for a white sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

At the time, a source revealed that Pete and Hewitt weren’t planning on starting a family, but they were over the moon about it. 

“Pete and Elsie have a really playful relationship, and things are going really well,” the insider told Us Weekly.

Despite dating for a short amount of time, the pregnancy reportedly brought them closer, with the source describing it as “a healthy relationship for Pete.”

In the weeks leading up to their daughter’s birth, Pete and Hewitt celebrated the upcoming arrival with a baby shower attended by close friends and loved ones. 

The mom of one later shared moments from the intimate gathering on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse into the celebration. 

The bunny-themed shower featured games, decorations, and activities centered around welcoming their baby girl.

One highlight was a diaper-changing competition in which guests raced to diaper a teddy bear. In a short clip from the event, Hewitt was seen participating as her man cheered her on from behind. 

After completing the task, she turned around, and the couple shared a kiss. Another photo showed Hewitt smiling as she proudly displayed her growing baby bump.

In the caption, she described the day as the “sweetest special-est day filled with love and cake and diapers and fwends and hugs and bagels and gifts for my lil bunny on the way.” 

Hewitt Opens Up About Her Pregnancy Struggles

While celebrating her pregnancy, Hewitt also opened up about the difficult physical toll it took on her. 

In November, she shared candid updates on her Instagram stories, describing her experience as “24/7 agony.” 

Hewitt told her followers, per the Daily Mail, “I’m in absolute agony pretty much 24/7. This morning, it’s really bad.” She explained that the pain was so severe that she could barely walk.

She also revealed that she had tried multiple treatments, including acupuncture, exercise, and steroid injections, but nothing brought relief. 

“At this point, if you can think of something that there is to do about the pain, I have tried it,” Hewitt said. “I am just straight-up suffering and in so much pain every single day.”

Hewitt linked the pain to her existing health conditions, including endometriosis and Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. 

She later expressed gratitude for the support she received, saying, “I’m really grateful. Like, really, really, really grateful. So thank you.”

Pete Davidson Reflects On Love, Family, And His Future

Pete Davidson has previously shared how strongly he felt about starting a family with Hewitt early in their relationship. 

During a joint interview with Bumble in November, Hewitt recalled their first date, saying, “When we went on our first date, like, we went out to dinner for the first time, I was like, ‘Okay, don’t think that I’m crazy but I just know you’re going to be the father of my children.’” Pete agreed, adding, “Yeah. I was like, ‘I know.’”

The following month, Pete shared his excitement about meeting their bundle of joy, noting that they had been considering name options.

As The Blast reported, the “Dog Man” actor revealed that while some celebrities choose unusual or themed names, like colors or other trendy monikers, he and Hewitt were leaning toward something more classic and familiar. 

He explained that for a while they considered doing “that weird Hollywood thing where it’s like a color or something.” 

However, they shifted toward a “Staten Island normal” style instead, with options like “Mikey, Johnny, Tommy, Mark, or Amy, Bridget, Maggie.”
