Nicki Minaj Cuts It Close On Losing Her Home In Husband's Assault Case

The final verdict on Nicki Minaj's husband's assault case is inevitably drawing nearer.
This case has been on since 2022, after a 2019 alleged assault incident between her former security guard and her husband, Kenneth Petty. The rapper has been given a choice to pay the court-ordered settlement or risk losing her eight-bedroom home in Hidden Hills, California.
Nicki Minaj, in recent times, has been getting wound up out of the good graces of the media, especially since declaring her open support for President Donald Trump.
Nicki Minaj Stands To Lose Her $20 Million Mansion

After losing the lawsuit brought by her one-time security guard, Thomas Weidenmüller, who alleged that the rapper's husband assaulted him, Minaj might have to pay dearly. She was ordered to pay $503,000, and a refusal leads to losing ownership of her $20 million California home.
Minaj is directly connected with the case, as Weidenmüller named her in the 2022 lawsuit of the incident, which took place in Germany in 2019. Judge Cindy Pánuco ruled in favor of the guard, ordering that the judgment amount be paid.
Since the court order, Minaj has not made any attempts to pay up, and last November, Judge Pánuco said she was looking into ordering the sale of the rapper's eight-bedroom mansion to fund the award for Weidenmüller.
According to court documents reviewed by The Daily Mail, unless the “Super Bass” singer completely pays Weidenmüller on or before Thursday, when the judge is scheduled to make the final ruling, she will be asked to order the sale of Minaj's home
The Accuser's Lawyer Claims The Rapper Is Just Being Stubborn

The security guard's attorney, Paul A. Saso, said in legal documents that Minaj's refusal to pay the judgment amount indicates a great degree of stubbornness in reaction to the court's ruling.
He acknowledged that forcing the sale of her California home might be pretty extreme, saying, “Although it is regrettable that the extraordinary measure of forcing the sale of Minaj’s dwelling is required, that result is entirely the product of her intransigence in not making payment.”
The attorney added that Minaj's failure to pay the money could not stem from financial restraint, as her net worth runs close to $200 million. She is also reportedly the highest-paid female rap star in the world.
Saso maintained that Minaj's actions are intentional despite different efforts to reach out to her. Furthermore, he stressed that her refusal to pay not only squanders the court’s limited resources but also mocks the authority of its judgment.
The 'Anaconda' Hitmaker's Connection With Her Husband's Assault Scandal

Petty was accused of sucker punching Weidenmüller in the jaw at Minaj's 2019 concert in Germany after an incident with a female security guard.
Weidenmüller was the head of security that evening and allegedly stepped in as Minaj was scolding a female security guard for allowing a male fan to get on stage during her performance. Things got heated with the music icon, and she called the female guard "a f-cking b-tch.”
The Blast shares that Weidenmüller tried to quench the rage by speaking to Minaj, whom he claims verbally blasted and threw a shoe at him. It was during this altercation that Petty jumped out and surprisingly punched him, breaking his jaw, an act which allegedly caused him to undergo eight surgeries.

Nicki Minaj Still Has Someone In Her Corner Amid Backlash

American model Amber Rose declared open support for Nicki Minaj and her political views. The Blast shared how Rose clapped back at haters, saying the hate Minaj is getting is uncalled for.
The model stressed that everyone is entitled to their opinion and views, even on sensitive matters, and should not be judged for them. She believes that Minaj has done nothing wrong by expressing her support for Trump and his administration.
Homophobic is not a word Rose would use to describe Trump's administration, and she stands by it, silencing claims that Minaj's support would rub her LGBTQ+ fans the wrong way.
Rose has been a supporter of the politician since 2024, openly declaring her unwavering support for his administration.
