Melanie Lynskey & Robyn Malcolm Want Justice in 'Pike River' Trailer

Brainstorm Media has released an official US trailer for an indie drama from New Zealand titled Pike River, the true story of two women fighting for justice in their town. This premiered at the 2025 Sydney Film Festival earlier this year. In the aftermath of an explosion that rocked the Pike River Mine and killed 29, two women step up to fight for accountability. Melanie Lynskey stars in this David and Goliath drama based on actual events following the 2010 Pike River Mine disaster that took the lives of many men working underground.
