With Jake Paul’s fight with Tank Davis cancelled, a new challenger approaches in the form of former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua. The pair will showdown in Miami, and it will be the most brutal fight of Paul’s boxing career. We have everything you need to know about the fight, including the date, start time, undercard, preliminary bouts, and more.

Love him or hate him, Jake Paul has been one of the most influential boxers of the past decade. By transitioning from social media bad boy to a boxer and sports promoter, through his own promotion, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), Paul has become one of the most polarizing figures in the sport for years. Last year, tens of millions of people tuned in to watch his fight with the legendary Mike Tyson, which he won by unanimous decision.

Over the years, Paul has been criticised for his choice of fighters, and while those fights have earned him tens of millions of dollars, he has yet to be recognised by boxing purists. Paul’s initial opponent, Gervonta “Tank” Davis, would have been his most formidable opponent to date. Still, arguably, his replacement, Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs), the former World Heavyweight Champion, will be Paul’s most formidable challenge. While Joshua doesn’t have an undefeated record at stake, as Davis did, his experience, size, and talent as a fighter should be enough to overwhelm Paul.

What to watch on Netflix before the fight?

Unlike previous fights, there was no Countdown documentary released ahead of the fight that would have documented the training camps and fight preparation for Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua. This is likely because the fight was booked late in the proceedings, after the fight with Tank Davis was cancelled.

Alternatively, if you have time, a press conference was broadcast live on December 17, 2025, on the Netflix Sports YouTube channel.

There is also the weigh-in for the fight, which was streamed on December 18, 2025, on the Netflix Sports YouTube channel.

What Audio options is Netflix providing for the event?

Netflix offers live commentary in four languages: English, Portuguese (Brazil), French, and Spanish.

There will be two audio options available for Spanish listeners, including one for Latin American audiences.

What Devices Is The Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua Available on and Not Available On?

Most newer devices support the live option, and the Windows App was updated over the summer to add this functionality. You can watch it on the official Netflix mobile app or on most connected TVs or devices. If you’re on a mobile device, you need Android 7 or up or iOS 17 or up.

According to the official Netflix help documents, two major devices that you won’t be able to watch the fight on include the 1st-3rd Generation Chromecast and the Ultra, in addition to the PlayStation 3. (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will stream the match without issue.)

Can I stream the fight after the event ends on Netflix?

You certainly can! As with all of Netflix’s previous live sports events, the streaming service will make the event available as a VOD. This means you will have on-demand access to the event.
