Keith Lee Slays 2025 TikTok Awards As Creator Of The Year
On Thursday night, TikTok held its inaugural U.S. award show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The event included hundreds of content creators, a red carpet arrival, and performances under the theme "New Era, New Icons."
Ahead of the awards, fans could vote for their favorite creators in a number of categories. Some included, "My Show is On," "Rising Star of the Year," "Storyteller of the Year," "Okay Slay," "Immediately Added to Cart," and many other trendy categories.
Lee shared on Instagram that he took home the coveted "Creator of the Year" award with a post captioned, "God Is Amazing." His post, a carousel of photos from the event, included a short speech to his followers who have supported him.
"We just left the TikTok awards. We're at the airport already," he said. "I just wanted to say thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I can't express thank you enough."
He continued by sharing that "never in a million years" did he think he would win.

It didn't take long before Lee's IG followers dropped into the comments to share their thoughts on the big win.

In a video shared by TikTok from the awards, Lee explains that he "never thought" he would be where he is today.
"I never thought I would be able to speak in public, let alone get on a stage," he said. When asked what he would say to his younger self, he responded, "I'm speechless but I would tell him to continue going. You are not just a kid with anxiety, you're not just a kid that follows in his brother's footsteps. You are yourself, and everything that you do is going to happen the way it's supposed to."
When asked what's next, Lee shared more information about the upcoming Familee Food Festival in New Orleans.
"It highlights small businesses. It highlights the city of New Orleans. It highlights the first place we ever went to food tour," he said. "I can't wait to see you all there. My family will be there, and I can't wait for y'all to be there."

According to Us Weekly, the creators up against Lee in the category of Creator of the Year included Alix Earle, Adam W., Brooke Monk, and Kristy Sarah.
