What is the plot of Free Bert?
We have an extensive synopsis for Free Bert:
“Stunt comedian/wild man Bert Kreischer gets fired from his ‘Jackass’-type TV show for accidentally bad-mouthing his execs while on a hot mic. Realizing his wife, LeeAnn (Myrin), and his two daughters, Ila and Georgia (Ryan), are not happy about him being home, citing ‘The Bert Chaos’ that follows him wherever he goes, Bert tries for about five minutes to fit in to the new elite private school his girls go to. However, when he goes to bat for a horribly embarrassed Georgia after she’s cyber-bullied, he finds himself up against the most powerful family in the school. What’s a comedian to do? Unwilling to toe the line but wanting above all to protect his kid, Bert discovers that the best way to get things done is to be his own funny, brutally honest self… and in the process, he might actually be boosting his career.”
Who are the cast members of Free Bert?
Bert Kreischer stars as himself in the sitcom. Kreischer is most well-known for his stand-up comedy, performing bare-chested and known for his supremely eccentric and energetic personality. Often appearing on talk shows, podcasts, and more, there have been relatively few acting opportunities for the comedian outside of his 2023 comedy film The Machine, which is based on his most well-known stand-up routine.
Arden Myrin plays Bert’s wife, LeeAnn. The actress previously starred in the Netflix series Insatiable as Regina Sinclair. She is most well-known for starring in shows such as Shameless, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Orange Is the New Black, and The Righteous Gemstones.
