Candace Owens is sharing details of her highly anticipated in-person meeting with late Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk.

She had asked Owens and other individuals peddling conspiracy theories about her husband's death to "stop," but the conservative commentator said she never mentioned it when they met.

Erika Kirk also described her meeting with Candace Owens as "very productive," and teased that they may now be working together.

Candace Owens' in-person meeting with Erika Kirk didn't go the way many thought it would, as the podcast host claims Erika changed her tune.

The Turning Point USA C.E.O. turned up for a CBS Town Hall on December 13, where journalist Bari Weiss named Owens as someone who "has been one of the main peddlers" of conspiracies about her husband's death.

Weiss then asked her, "What do you want to say to her and the other people that are putting these lies out into the world?"

"Stop," she warned with a stern look. "That's it. That's all I have to say. Stop."

Candace Owens Says The Widow Did Not Tell Her To 'Stop' Sharing Theories About Her Husband During Their Meeting

Naturally, many thought that when Erika and Owens finally met in person, the widow would ask her to refrain from spreading conspiracy theories about her late husband. However, it appears things didn't go that way.

The journalist has come up with several unfounded claims, including when she said "with full confidence" that Charlie was "betrayed" by the leadership of Turning Point USA, and also claimed that French or Israeli government agents were involved in his death.

On Monday, Owens appeared on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" with Piers Morgan and insisted that her interaction with Erika did not include a request for her to "stop" discussing controversial theories about Charlie's death.

"Is she okay with you now continuing to talk about your theories, or does she still want you to stop?" Morgan asked, according to a report.

"Well, she didn't ask me to stop," Owens replied. "We had a conversation, and I was not asked throughout that conversation to stop, and to the contrary, I shared information that I had, and I got information from them that helps."

"Until I feel confident of who killed Charlie Kirk, I will not stop investigating this," Owens added. "She did not ask me or request for me to stop in-person, and we spoke about that moment. She felt that Bari Weiss was being Bari Weiss."

It remains to be seen if the meeting has led both parties to sheathe their swords, as Erika took to her X platform to say it was "very productive."

"Had a very productive conversation with @RealCandaceO," Erika wrote. "More to come from both of us. Looking forward to AmFest this week. Time to get back to work."

Owens also took to her X account to share the same sentiment about their meeting.

"We agreed much more than I had anticipated. Of course, we also disagreed on various points and people as well. Most importantly, we were able to share intel and clarify intent," she said.

A partnership between Erika and Owens now looks attainable, according to the right-wing influencer's comment about their meeting.

In a video shared on her social media account, she said it was a "very productive conversation" and that she got to ask "every single question from Egyptian planes to Turning Point USA faith, and I was very surprised by some of the answers that I got, and I think they were also very surprised when I shared certain intel."

Owens added that the meeting "probably should have happened a very long time ago," but now that it has, it is "definitely a very big step in the right direction."

Charlie Kirk's Suspected Killer Made His First In-Person Court Appearance

Erika Kirk's husband, Charlie, was shot and killed during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University on September 10.

Suspect Tyler Robinson has since been arrested for his gruesome murder and has been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated murder.

He's yet to enter a plea, as reports claim prosecutors are looking to hit him with the death penalty.

The 22-year-old appeared for his first in-person court session last Thursday, wearing restraints on his wrists and ankles. He wore a shirt, a tie, and trousers, and smiled at his family members sitting at the front.

According to reports, part of the court session involved the review of an audio recording and transcript from a previous hearing that was sealed off to the public, while another part was streamed online as the judge allowed for cameras in court.

"I need to hear what should or should not be sealed or protected, and it would not benefit to have everyone listen to what should be sealed," Judge Tony Graf said.

The judge was to initially issue his rulings that day, but postponed them to December 29 because he would rather "do it right and take more time, than be rash and miss the mark".

"I need to be narrow in my approach; it is an important issue. I plan to do that," the judge noted.
