Donald Trump has yet again unveiled his insensitive side towards a grieving family.

The president launched a social media rant attacking the Kennedy family just hours after JFK’s granddaughter, Tatiana Schlossberg, was announced dead.

Just a few weeks ago, Trump embarked on a similar rampage when he took to social media to mock the late Rob Reiner.

Shortly after Caroline Kennedy’s daughter, Tatiana Schlossberg, passed away, Trump headed to Truth Social, where he mocked the Kennedy family.

Although he didn't directly mention the deceased lady, he shared screenshots of MAGA supporters mocking the Kennedys after the Kennedy Center was renamed to the Trump-Kennedy Center.

“The Kennedy Family have LONG neglected the Kennedy Center, btw. They don’t raise money for it. They never show up. And the only Kennedy who has been there recently is a member of Trump’s cabinet,” one screenshot read.

"The Trumps have always been supporters of the arts. The Kennedys are supporters of the Kennedys," read another.

Although Trump’s attacks on the Kennedy family did not go unnoticed, they have yet to respond as they are still grieving the death of Schlossberg. Rather than address the president’s actions, a member of the family, Maria Shriver, who was Schlossberg’s cousin, took to X to pay tribute to her beloved relative.

“I return to this space today to pay tribute to my sweet, beloved Tatiana, who left this earth today. I return to this space to pay tribute and honor her loving and supportive family, who came together and did everything they possibly could do to help her,” she wrote

Tatiana Schlossberg Passed Away Following A Battle With Cancer

Trump’s attacks on the Kennedy family came a few hours after it was announced that Schlossberg was deceased. She had initially shared her diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia in November 2025.

When she shared the news, she revealed that the disease was discovered following the birth of her second child. She noted that she “couldn't believe” the doctors were talking about her, due to the severity of the illness, and shared that she didn't even feel sick at the time.

She recalled feeling frustrated at being the one to add more sadness to the family after all the devastation they had already dealt with.

“Now I have added a new tragedy to her life, to our family’s life, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it,” she stated, according to People Magazine.

A month later, on December 30, she gave up the ghost at the age of 35.

As devastating as Schlossberg’s death was, Trump seemed to have no issue attacking her family even in their time of grief.

He repeated this same blunder barely two weeks ago, when he accused Rob Reiner of passing away due to “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

According to The Blast, Trump wrote that Reiner and his wife died due to “the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS."

He also accused the late actor of being an obsessive, paranoid person who didn't want to see the Trump administration succeed.

Despite receiving backlash for attacking the deceased on social media, Trump doubled down and slammed the late actor for being a “deranged person.”

He accused him of befriending Russia and being one of the people behind the “Russia hoax.” He then made it clear that he was not Reiner’s fan “at all” and noted that he wasn’t good for America, per The Blast.

Although Shriver didn't address Trump’s attacks on Schlossberg, she defended Reiner when the president slammed him.

According to The Blast, she shared heartfelt tributes about Reiner and his wife on social media and portrayed them as peaceful, loving people.

She then slammed Trump on X, writing, “I try to rise above the noise all the time, but this individual has no human decency. This goes beyond. It's absolutely disgusting. We should all be horrified and disgusted by this inhumane behavior, because that's what it is."

She also noted that although the deceased couple would’ve wanted her to ignore the president’s remarks, she couldn't help but speak up.
