Don Lemon Unloads On Trump Over Rob Reiner, Calls Him Racist & Mocks His Manhood

Hollywood is still reeling over the unexpected death of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner. Since news broke that the couple was murdered inside their Brentwood home, public figures and politicians have penned emotional tributes in the director's honor. However, a lengthy Truth Social post from Donald Trump sparked fury for seemingly mocking the late director. Critics quickly slammed the former president for being "heartless" during such a tragic time, with former CNN anchor Don Lemon joining the chorus of condemnation to level stunning accusations against the politician before taking a deeply personal shot at his manhood.
Donald Trump Sparked Outrage After Sharing An Insensitive Post About Rob Reiner

Shortly after news broke of the murders, Trump shared a post online that many deemed "heartless" and insensitive, according to The Blast.
"A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS," he wrote.
Trump didn't stop there, though. He added, "He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!"
Don Lemon Fires Back At Trump For Rob Reiner Comments
Lemon wasted no time responding to Trump's message during a livestream, branding the politician a "racist" before attacking his character and manhood.
"You know what, Donald Trump? F-ck you. Just f-ck all the way off. What an a-shole and a small-minded, small d-ck sh-t to do," he said. "You have no couth, you are an immature child, you are a bigot, a f-cking racist, and a small p-nis a-shole."
Lemon, who was ousted from CNN in April 2023, further branded the 45th POTUS "hateful and delusional" before criticizing him for reacting strongly to posts from other public figures that seemed inappropriate in light of Charlie Kirk's unexpected passing.
"That just shows me that you were just grifting off of Charlie Kirk's death. That you don't give a sh-t about respecting someone when they die. You don't care. You care about yourself," he finished.
Celebs Slam Trump For 'Vile' Comment About The Late Rob Reiner

Lemon wasn't the only public figure to condemn Trump. "Frozen" actor Josh Gad called the president a "psychopath" while blasting his "too low" comments.
"Rob Reiner was 1000 times the man you are and unlike you, he actually cared about the American people. Go paint your hand on your gold f-cking toilet and destroy things like the White House. That’s what you do best," he added.
"White Lotus" star Patrick Schwarzenegger shared a brief statement, calling Trump's Truth Social post "a disgusting and vile statement."
Jimmy Kimmel also blasted Trump during an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," stating that America needs more "compassion" among its leaders. "Blaming [Rob’s] death on the fact that he is an outspoken liberal, insulting someone who’s just been murdered, who leaves children behind without having any idea of what actually happened, it’s so hateful and vile," he added.
The Obamas Speak Positively About Rob And Michele

In stark contrast, former President Barack Obama shared a heartfelt tribute regarding Rob and Michele's tragic passing. In his message on X (formerly Twitter), he expressed genuine sadness over Hollywood's latest loss.
Barack praised the "Being Charlie" director's accomplishments in the television and film industry before highlighting the 78-year-old's commitment to making the world a better place. "... beneath all of the stories he produced was a deep belief in the goodness of people—and a lifelong commitment to putting that belief into action."
Former First Lady Michelle Obama shared a similar message during a late-night talk show appearance. “What [Rob and Michele] have always been are passionate people in a time when there’s not a lot of courage going on,” she said. "They’re the kind of people who were ready to put their actions behind what they cared about."
About Rob And Michele's Death

According to an earlier report from The Blast, Rob and Michele were killed on Sunday, December 14. Los Angeles law enforcement officers confirmed that the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, was arrested and charged with murder in relation to the case.
"We have our robbery/homicide division handling the investigation. They worked throughout the night on this case and were able to take into custody Nick Reiner, a suspect in this case," LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell said. "He was subsequently booked for murder and is being held on $4 million bail."
