Brianna LaPaglia has broken her silence on the speculations surrounding her famous tattoo.

The media personality has been trending for allegedly being the subject of her ex Zach Bryan's new album. Fans are convinced multiple songs are dissolved tracks aimed at the podcaster, especially one about a tattoo.

Contrary to the theories floating on the internet, the origin of Brianna LaPaglia's 'How Lucky Are We' tattoo isn't connected to the lyrics of Zach Bryan's "28" song. The former couple separated acrimoniously in October 2024.

On January 10, LaPaglia updated her TikTok page with a post about a former flame she bumped into while out in New York City. She recounted the details of their relationship, noting that "OG just Brianna Chickenfry followers" might recall her wild purple hair era.

In the comments, one fan remembered that the time period of the ex LaPaglia mentioned coincided with when she got the "how lucky are we" tattoo. They recalled she got the words etched into her skin with friends, and the Barstool Sports podcaster agreed.

"Hahah, yes, we all got in Vegas 4 years ago!" LaPaglia replied. Her confirmation sparked supportive messages from fans, who knew the tattoo was never connected to Bryan.

"UGH I KNEW IT and always got so frustrated when people acted like we had a Shakespeare on our hands with that line when it was really your thing all along," a TikToker wrote.

When someone wondered if LaPaglia made up the origin story of her "how lucky are we" tattoo, another fan quickly rose to her defense. They pointed out that she previously talked about the tattoo before ending her relationship with Bryan.

True to the fan's words, LaPaglia did a tattoo tour in August 2023 shortly after her romance with Bryan became public. In the TikTok video, she revealed the "how lucky are we" phrase was a matching tattoo she got with her friends while they were drunk in Las Vegas.

LaPaglia got the words inked on the back of her arm, noting that she loved the placement despite the words looking like they were "morphed together." The post proved that she got the tattoo long before meeting Bryan, and the phrase was used in the lyrics of his 2024 song, "28."

The reignited interest in LaPaglia's 'How Lucky Are We' tattoo began after the release of Bryan's new album, "With Heaven on Top." One of the songs, "Skin," sparked diss track speculations because many believed it was about LaPaglia.

Part of the lyrics read, "I'm taking a blade to my old tattoos. I'm draining the blood between me and you. I'm taking a blade to my own skin. And I ain't never touching yours again." Many suspected the song referenced Bryan's breakup from LaPaglia, using the "how lucky are we" tattoo as evidence.

LaPaglia previously shut down fans' talks about removing their "how lucky are we" tattoos following her breakup from Bryan. She explained that she wasn't removing hers and reminded them that she popularized the tattoo on TikTok, saying, "That was my thing. That is my tattoo… Don't get it removed. It's okay."

LaPaglia didn't help the speculations about Bryan's album being about her, as she seemingly mocked him for being obsessed with her in an Instagram Story post. Page Six reported that she reposted Taylor Swift's "Actually Romantic" song from Spotify.

She highlighted the lyrics, "It's actually sweet all the time you've spent on me. It's honestly wild." While LaPaglia's post did not reference Bryan, it suspiciously dropped the same day the country music singer released his new album on January 9, 2026.

Days before her Instagram Story post, LaPaglia appeared to shade her ex for tying the knot to Samantha Leonard with Swift's "Mastermind" track." In a TikTok post shared on January 2, she filmed herself singing along to the lyrics, "Checkmate, I couldn't lose."

LaPaglia and Bryan's once-sweet bond soured in October 2024 when the singer announced their breakup. Shortly after his post, LaPaglia claimed she was "blindsided" by their separation and later accused Bryan of emotional abuse and trying to coerce her into signing a $12 million NDA.
