Brian Austin Green is literally a human vault.
The actor reflected on one romantic connection he made in Hollywood years ago, which he was made to keep under wraps no matter the situation due to stark cultural differences that existed at the time.

Brian Austin Green Confessed The Secret Romance Made Him Feel Insecure
The TV star revealed it was a rollercoaster dating actress Martin Tichina in the 90s because she warned him that no one must know about their romance. Green claimed the instructions he received from Tichina triggered his insecurities because he felt like an outsider due to the differences in culture at the time.
He added that it was also difficult for him to leave the culture behind at the time because he was genuinely enchanted by it. "So, I was really insecure. And then I have someone who I'm attracted to who's telling me like, "Oh, you can't tell anybody," the actor claimed.
Brian continued on the "Funny Knowing You" podcast that, after a while, things took a turn, and Tichina began getting comfortable with the public becoming aware of the relationship, leading him to question the essence of what they were doing.
The Actor Explained Why He Always Dated Black Women At The Time

Green did not let his ex's comments about him experimenting with dating black women at the time slide. He explained that due to his proximity and pure love for hip hop at the time, it was only normal that he also showed affection to people around him. In his words:
"So, of course, I was dating a majority of black women at the time because it was like we had common interests. We had things that we were doing together."
He noted that he did not consciously choose to begin dating black women, and the presence of the word "race" often makes him uncomfortable.
"Like to me, there are different cultures, and I think as soon as we start changing the perspective on that and stop using the word race and instead start using the word culture, then it kind of brings us all down to a more common level," Green said.
The years have now slowly gone by, but Green's admiration for Tichina remains the same, and they will always have optimum support for each other.
Inside Brian Austin Green's Romantic Ties Over The Years

Prior to his marriage and divorce to actress Megan Fox, the actor had previously dated a few notable faces in Hollywood. He dated actress Tori Spelling from 1990 to 1991 when they starred in a movie together, and admitted in 2019 that they were young and free when that relationship happened.
From there, US Weekly shared that the actor moved on to date Tiffani Thiessen. According to Green's confession on how the relationship began, he said, "I didn't really ask her on a date, and then we dated."
"But I always sort of played the like … I wait until somebody comes to me because I don't deal with rejection very well." After his split from Thiessen, he proceeded to date Vanessa Marcil from "Beverly Hills, 90210," and the relationship lasted from 1999 to 2003.
The former couple welcomed a son, Kassius, in 2002, and their split was marked with custody drama, which spilled into 2018 when Marcil claimed Green and Fox shut Kassius out of their lives.
Green and Fox began dating after his split from Marcil in 2004 and got engaged in November 2006. They got married in 2010 and welcomed three sons during their time together.
However, the marriage was marked by a significant separation in 2015, after which they got back together and ultimately confirmed in 2020 that they were getting divorced.
By the end of 2020, Sharna Burgess and Green were linked together after they were spotted on vacation in Hawaii. They welcomed a son together in June 2022, and Green proposed the following year.
The 'Beautiful Disaster' Actor Opted For Vasectomy After Baby With Sharna Burgess

Eight weeks after the birth of his baby boy with Burgess, Green revealed on a podcast in 2024 that he went in for the medical procedure. "Zane was born, and I was like, 'I think it's time to close the shop," the actor explained.
Burgess had also revealed that the birth of their son was a failure of the birth control measure she had taken. As noted by The Blast, she stressed that his pregnancy was completely unplanned, but he still made his way into the world.
She praised Green for taking the bold step of a vasectomy till they are ready to expand their family. "So, I was really, really grateful for that. It was such a big and beautiful thing he did, and it secures comfort and no stress in our sex life — not worry about it, if we are or we aren't [pregnant], which is such a gift," she affirmed.
She added that if the urge ever to have a child comes in the near future, they would consider getting an IVF procedure.
Brian Austin Green Is Focused On Protecting His Gay Son From Bullying

The father-of-five discussed what it felt like coming to terms with the fact that he has a gay son, after his eldest, Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green, came out in 2023.
He noted that several things have not changed in his parenting technique, but now he is focused on creating a safe space for his son to express himself fully.
Green shared that he also had a series of conversations with his son at the initial stage to familiarize himself with the whole idea of his sexuality, and he found out that it does not affect anything.
He emphasized that since learning about his sexual orientation, he does not give room for bullying or unnecessary opinions on his son. In his words:
"It does not affect you. Why do you care so much? And why are you trying to somehow bully your feelings and your opinion into something that literally does not affect you at all?"
The actor confessed that he finds the experience very captivating, and a lot of people are just afraid of the experience because of its newness to them.
