Although Abbott Elementary season 5, episode 8 brings back Taraji P. Henson as Janine’s mother, Vanetta, viewers shouldn’t expect a major change in her character arc. While Abbott Elementary’s entire cast of characters is reliably funny and lovable, the show’s guest stars are more of a mixed bag.
